"Endo-Metabolic" device platform for non-invasively treating obesity

Pioneering Endo-Metabolic Devices for Obesity

Using the body’s Natural Physiology to amplify Satiety

EndoSphere has developed a new category of non-invasive endoscopic medical devices for treating obesity using the body’s natural physiology by focusing on the Duodenum, the upper intestinal organ which functions the body’s “metabolic control center”. We call this new category “Endo-Metabolic” devices. We believe this new platform of devices will help to address the recognized limitations of existing obesity therapies (restrictive devices, malabsorption devices, and bariatric surgeries) and will help to transform the way metabolic diseases are treated in the future, starting with Obesity.

How the EndoSphere System works

Endoscopic insertion of device

The device is inserted to float within the Duodenum because that organ is widely recognized as the body’s Metabolic Control Center.

Recalibration of the Duodenum

At its core, the EndoSphere System amplifies Satiety feedback loops by recalibrating the Duodenum to respond faster and longer to food intake. This accelerates Satiety, thereby reducing appetite and slowing digestion.

Removal of device

EndoSphere’s device is endoscopically removed in a matter of minutes.
